HI, I’M KAREN!
There are certain moments you can’t rewind or get back. From your wedding day, to family photos, to graduation pictures and everything in between - I’m here to capture those snapshots of special milestones in your life for you to look back on for decades to come.
My mission is to capture what makes you YOU! Pretty posed portraits are standard, but I like to throw in the candid moments that you may not even realize I’m capturing - the in between moments, the pure joy or laughter on your faces, the quiet knowing look you throw your partner. With a background in event and low light photography, I lean towards a more photojournalistic, live and natural method to shooting your special day. I am also well acquainted with event coordination, which is a beneficial characteristic to have for your special moment! I cater each session to you and your needs, because the end result should be everything you imagined it to be.
I’m based out of Lake County, IL and travel to the greater Chicago area for weddings and other events. (Plus I’m from Philadelphia + Pittsburgh and love coming back to visit…)
